We were directly interviewed by HEM Architects of Sheffield and the property owners with a view to working together on a project to convert a 1960's Bungalow with an EPC of D into a passive house specification, here we achieved an EPC of A

CE - Passive House Retrofit – EPC G to EPC A (109)

A complete whole-house energy retrofit, transforming the property from an EPC G rating to an exceptional EPC A score of 109. The project included high-performance insulation, improved airtightness, upgraded windows and doors, solar photovoltaic panels, battery storage and an air source heat pump.

Careful thermal-bridge detailing and modern external finishes helped create a warmer, healthier and highly energy-efficient home, with substantially reduced heat loss, energy consumption and running costs.

Timber-Frame Subterranean Home

A bespoke timber-frame home constructed on a challenging sloping site, incorporating a partially subterranean lower level. The build included reinforced retaining structures, masonry work, timber cladding, roofing and external landscaping. The finished property combines modern design with natural materials while making excellent use of the surrounding ground levels.

HAG - Passive House Retrofit

A comprehensive energy-efficiency retrofit designed to improve comfort, reduce heat loss and significantly lower the property’s running costs. The project included high-performance insulation, airtightness improvements, upgraded windows and doors, external finishes and careful detailing to minimise thermal bridging. The completed home combines a clean, modern appearance with excellent long-term energy performance.

Specialist Cleaning Services

Following an oil spill during severe storm conditions, oil was driven up the exterior façade of the building, contaminating a large vertical area. Our specialist cleaning team carried out controlled removal, surface treatment and decontamination to restore the façade while protecting the surrounding environment and building materials.

Ash Tree Removal Following Water Ingress

Following water ingress affecting an ash tree, our arboriculture team safely dismantled and removed a mature ash tree to provide access for investigation and remedial works. The tree was removed in controlled sections to protect the surrounding building, garden and neighbouring areas, with all timber and debris cleared from site.
